Dr. Eric Cantos is a long-standing member of the Long Island medical community with a diverse background. He is an experienced radiologist with expertise in neuroradiology. Dr. Cantos is board certified in diagnostic radiology, with subspecialty certification in neuroradiology. He is also board certified in pediatrics with an initial internship and residency at the Schneider’s Children’s Hospital. Dr. Cantos completed a residency in radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in neuroradiology at LIJ as well. After initial staff positions at Montefiore Medical Center and Nassau County Medical Center, Dr. Cantos taught at the University Hospital Stony Brook where he was an assistant professor of radiology and neurosurgery and chief of the division of neuroradiology. He is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and has membership in the Eastern Society of Neuroradiology, the American Society of Spine Radiology, the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America. Dr. Cantos received his medical degree from AUC, and his BS from MIT.
